RESTYLING GEMELLI

Station Gemelli Roma

Gemelli railway station redevelopment project in Rome. The project idea, founding the architectural composition aimed at the restyling of the Gemelli railway station in Rome, is essentially based on the study of the multiple urban/architectural fronts of which it is composed.

Building A

Building “A” at the entrance to Gemelli Railway Station is in direct connection with the urban expressway artery of Via della Pineta Sacchetti. The relationship with the city of this entrance is essentially expressed through: speed; the movement of the vehicular flow and the relationship given by a public space in front.

The project of Body “B” has the main task of giving a new structure to the public space in front of it. Redevelopment of the main front and the square in front, with cycle path lighting.
