Cesano railway station redevelopment project in Rome. The project idea, founding the architectural composition aimed at the restyling of the Cesano di Roma railway station, has as its main objective the obtaining of a highly qualified station with particular attention to its expansion.

Architectural choices

The architectural choices implemented are: On the composition of the waiting and non-waiting spaces. On materials, the construction of a new building. On lighting and furniture. They have the purpose of highlighting a distinctive and unequivocal trait of the entire network, with the aim of making the designed space full of elements with their own recognization. The user must feel, even with just a quick and distracted glance, reassured of the place where he is and that the path he is taking is the right one.

Concept of Recognisability

The parts covered by the project, to which we want to give the concept of recognisability, start from the front of the railway station to enter the passenger room with all its paths branching off into the underpass or directly onto the platform.
